heart of god church

first timer at a christian church.
im a catholic for like the past 16/17 yrs of my life.
i like being a catholic. still do of cos.
-beammmsss.

i first met jevon.
who was LATE again ! ):
walked over and was overwhelmed by youths.
sec4 st nicks girls came over and bombarded me with their friendliness and names.
i cant seem to rmb any rite now. -blush.
they talked to me like they knew me for 10 yrs.
now THAT was freaky.
over-friendliness. -shudders.
hung arnd and met sum others.
talked and smacked jevon for his ego-ness.
all before entering the hall ?

just as expected, the praise & worship was good.
powerful and loud, exciting and all.
the songs were easy to sing.
pp were SO enthu, jumping abt non-stop and all.
the band was impressive i must say. ((:
then started the prayers and all.
the pastor was not bad. for once i listened to sumthing.
during sermons im alwis almost noddin away.
the whole atmosphere was good.
TOO good i must say.
when was there a time when pp actually had time to reflect and feel peaceful.
only a catholic mass or novena service makes me feel peaceful.

but on a whole, i got the msg the pastor was preaching abt.
to follow in god's footsteps and copy him.
to be 'fishers of men' and spread the word.
and of cos.. GET MORE FRIENDS. sheeshh..
loudest msg of all.. get more pp.

now that is sumthin i dun like.
i mean, if god has chosen the person to be a christian,
he should come to church himself.
and not be dragged along or influence.
to me. the decision is ultimately the individuals.
and should be allowed to come to church by him/herself.

later met an old st nicks senior, some vjc pp and sum random pp too.
sang happy birthday to 2 pp in the carpark.
then left to have dinner with them at pastamania.
yupps. so more or less i had fun ! ((: -smiles.
but only some pp know the reasons why.
the deeper one of cos. hahas !
oh wells, ok.. time to go do work and all.
loads to do during hols.
