although prom and the after-prom party is AGES away.. literally, andrea and i cant help feeling hell excited about.
i really hope our plans do really happen and not remain just as dreams and fantasies.
we were thinking of doing a themed party, different from the typical normal sort of clubbin party. we thought of a few themes like: arabian night, retro (70's) and las vegas (showgirls).
it will be SO awesome ! and we'll hopefully get a good turn out and earn loads ! hehe. ok hey, its a reality and fact, humans are fundamentally materialistic no matter how much we pretend we all arent. everything that happens in the world is due to profit motivation. like the imperial colonization in the early 19th century? that was driven not by the 'white man's burden' but.. more of the fact that the whites can feed off the coloured pp and exploit us. get my pt ? hahs. ok well.. i do hope everything works out in the end ! wel, enuf reflections and history info bombarding my entries. its time.. to urm.. think more about shoppping. hahs. im obsessed by the fact that i NEED to shop. retail therapy ! hahs. during my nap today, i swore i was dreaming of myself shopping and buying loads of shoes and all. -laughs. i need retail therapy seriously... cant wait for trina to finish her stupid exams and we can go shopping without trini. -evil grin.
and urm.. at the same time, pick out prez for mich, sab and karina..

she said: why do we have to learn all this crap? all we learn about is the stupid conflicts the world gets themselves involved in.
and after studying history for around 4 years.
i totally agree with that.
history is all about politics and stupid treaties, arguments and conflicts between countries.
oh and not to forget about the male ego too.
men just cant admit to losing or settling things via negotiations; they JUST have to indulge in the issues at hand and blow it up big so that as male politicians, if they can salvage the situation, they're heroes. SHEESH.
i swear, the world should be run by women.

oh wells, i just did some extra reading on OPEC and the oil crisis and all.
another stupid incident. the Middle Eastern countries decided to act big and use their PRECIOUS oil as a weapon and cause the world to get screwed up. but at least, in the end, they got a taste of their own medicine. lol. the world out-smarted them and switched to other sources of oi.. but.. still, oil cost a hefty sum these days.
everyone should cycle to wherever in singapore.
healthy living and fresher air.
besides, driving in singapore seems stressful- considering we've traffic lights every like 1-2 mins ? such a pain..
